How can I make friends in.high school?

Ok I move to a different county this year.in febuary and had to go to a different school and some people were nice but they stop (i think I should mention im a black girl and the school mostly has white people and like some people would ask me if I love hip hop and I dont I, mean I like some but im more of a west side story girl) so I just want.more friends that are like me and my skin color doesnt matter
