What can I continue to do about my sons behaviour and his school?

He doesn't sound emotionally ready. Take him out if possible check to see if he even needs to go to K many states you don't have to. He's bored like you said unless they can find something for him to do it's pointless. They only see how he acts at school I doubt he has a mental illness.
