Weiner resigning: Seriously, stop the press news?

Hey doll. I'm w/you as to why this merits so much attention. I mean whether this was by a democrat or republican, shouldn't the real subject here be how he served his constituants? His sex life is not a concern of mine. If I were from New York, wouldn't it be more important as to what he did during his term for the people of New York rather than this? He is admitting his wrong, seeking rehabilitation so why shouldn't he be given the chance like we the working people are given to clear up our "problem" and return to work? Govt is WAY to involved in such trivial things imo.
