Hamster Questions 10 points.?

Ok so I am going to be getting a male Winter White Hamster. I have had a hamster in the past and I got rid of him because he stunk. I think he was a robo or a russian dwarf. Any way, to get rid of the odor since I want to keep him in my bedroom, I will be putting baking soda on the cage floor, and then a layer of carefresh bedding. I will be putting 5 drops of vanilla extract in his water to help his urine to not smell so strongly of ammonia. I will be doing daily spout cleaning and once a week full cage clean. This mean everything is taken out cleaned in hot soapy water and he gets fresh baking soda and bedding. I am wondering if this will be enough to keep the odor down very low. I can't have him stinking up my room. And he will get a dust bath every other day to every three days. Will this be enough? I will be keeping him in a plastic bin ot see if he stinks if he does i am getting rid of him if e doesn't he get a nice hamster cage.

I'm a refugee who came to Canada, after almost 5 years of living I'm Canada, they decided to reject our claim of refugee and send me and my family back to our backhome, which in this case is palestine, but since there's war there they are going to send us to Lebanon fr where me and my parents were born from. I failed 3 classes in my freshman year which is this year and I didn't earn the three credits. And I can't go to summerschool because I have to go backhome. Guitar Distortion Pedals?

Hey guys, I am currently looking for some preferably high-end guitar distortion (or whatever is needed) type of pedals to get a few different sounds of music. I have a Dean Warbird and a Schecter Hellraiser Special C1-FR (incase you need to know) going through a marshall 100-watt amp (hoping to eventually upgrade to a half-stack, but ill post another question for that when the time comes). I have a distortion pedal, but it is one of those do-everything pedals that is electronic and doesnt specialize in anything in particular, and hoping to upgrade. I have saved up a little money, and want to get some new ones. I am in a band that plays rock (to appease to the bar setting that most of our gigs are at), metal and postcore/deathcore stuff occasionally (very ranged genre type, i know). I was hoping to get pedals that really make my sound great for all of those. If possible, I am hoping to get a pedal that would have great tone and crispness for classic rock, but with enough distortion to play modern rock. The second pedal I want is one that has great gain/distortion and would have the dark and very distorted (but not sooooo much that it is unbearable and undistinguishable) sound that bands like Attila/Within the Ruins would use. I would also like one (for me, not really for the band) that would have the right sound and tone for, say, Avenged Sevenfold type of songs, with lots of solos and preferably made to sound geat with drop D.......... I know this is asking a lot, but if you guys could compile maybe a list or at least answer to one of those, that would be really,really helpful....... Thanks.

How do I get my daughter off of bottle?

I'm trying to wean my 16 month old off of the bottle. I have tried pretty much every type of sippy cup there is. From ones with nipples to ones with straws and ones with spouts. There are two problems. She has no idea how to tip a sippy cup or her bottle for that matter. The other problem is that I have finally found a sippy cup that she can use because she doesn't have to tip it at all because it's the kind with a straw that goes all the way to the bottom of the sippy cup. She was using it fine with just water in it yesterday. This morning I have replaced one of her bottles and put the milk in the sippy cup. She drank the milk fine, but she refuses to drink water out of it now. I have no Idea what to do because she won't let me feed her water from the bottle and she won't use this sippy cup now, this is the ONLY sippy cup she is able to use. This problem has been going on for weeks no with me trying to get her to use a sippy cup that she has become dehydrated and it's caused her to become constipated. I have had to take her to the doctor to get a laxative for her because she went 9 days without going poop. This is now again the 7th day without her going poop. I have been giving her the laxative everyday, but because of her not getting any fluids except for milk, the medication isn't working. I'm at a loss for what to do. Any help?

I've been with my wife for 7 years ( my second marriage, her first ) and married for almost 4 years. We have a wonderful 2 year old boy who I would do anything for. Wow a friend of mine have the same thing as you are in a way. So don't be scared your not alone. In fact I help him overcome his problem but still he needed to see counselor once in 3 months until a year, he was doing fine no counselor at all. 2 years now he is doing fine. This is what I advise him to do. Which he followed. I was able to help him out by another easy way called exercising and diet. He used to take herbs and medication for the problem. Some herbs and medication works but short term giving you the drug like feeling, you know the drowsy feeling? It got him even more worse. Exercise and correct diet is the only natural medicine to help him overcome his problem. I told him to start taking a daily multivitamin. Watch your diet. 16 month old won't drink anything? what to do?

I'm trying to wean my 16 month old off of the bottle. I have tried pretty much every type of sippy cup there is. From ones with nipples to ones with straws and ones with spouts. There are two problems. She has no idea how to tip a sippy cup or her bottle for that matter. The other problem is that I have finally found a sippy cup that she can use because she doesn't have to tip it at all because it's the kind with a straw that goes all the way to the bottom of the sippy cup. She was using it fine with just water in it yesterday. This morning I have replaced one of her bottles and put the milk in the sippy cup. She drank the milk fine, but she refuses to drink water out of it now. I have no Idea what to do because she won't let me feed her water from the bottle and she won't use this sippy cup now, this is the ONLY sippy cup she is able to use. This problem has been going on for weeks no with me trying to get her to use a sippy cup that she has become dehydrated and it's caused her to become constipated. I have had to take her to the doctor to get a laxative for her because she went 9 days without going poop. This is now again the 7th day without her going poop. I have been giving her the laxative everyday, but because of her not getting any fluids except for milk, the medication isn't working. I'm at a loss for what to do. Any help?

8 Months ago, i had an avulsion fracture in my pelvis and hips, my doctor told me that i shouldnt movie my leg for 6 weeks, after 6 weeks my leg still hurt so he gave me another 6 weeks without pressure on the leg, and my muscles just keep hurting more and more as time passes and even my leg starts going numb sometimes, so i decided to go to another doctor who said that the problem is due to prolonged immobility which has made the muscles in my upper leg and thigh extremely week which causes the pain, can anyone tell me any good workouts in order to get my muscle strength back, the doctor suggest muscle strengthening and says that i should stretch the muscles because they became stiff after 8 months of immobility. Can anyone give me any workouts, routines, stretching techniques in order for me to get my leg back in action?

What are the best methods to increase your metabolism?

I have a low metabolism and it concerns me, because I have to watch what I eat wherever I am... weather its with my family or friends, and whenever they offer me something rich I have to painfully say no because I worry that it would go down to my hips or my arms. Those metal spouts usually have a plastic or rubber end attached to the end of the spout for covering. Most of the time that covering isnt necessary with olive oil. Vegetable oil should be covered well. I reuse my olive oil alot and keep it in a little plastic container with a lid, simple.Cooking oil like veggie and canola usually lasts a very long time if its bottled well, dont let it air out too much.

I'm trying to get my son weaned from the bottle. He doesn't get one very often, usually 2, rarely 3 a day-for naptime and bedtime and occasionally just wanting to be cuddled and "nursed" (I practice "bottle nursing" recommended by Dr. Sears). He gets sippy cups for his meals and when he's thirsty. My husband isn't quite so convinced that our son needs to be weaned right away. He's only 14 months and still very much a baby in his (well our) eyes. I told him several reasons why it's good for him to be off the bottle and he pointed out that the sippy cup spout and a bottle nipple are basically the same shape, but the bottle nipple is actually softer than the sippy cup spout. A unbelievable pokemon wi-fi battle in pokemon battle revolution. I had shedinja, kangaskhan, toxicroak, and swampert. I almost regret it picking swampert instead of a latias with soul dew or a zapdos. The other team was darkrai, mewtwo, ho-oh, and kyogre. I think the other two pokemon were dragonite and guardivor. On the first turn I flinched darkrai with the kangaskhan and took it out with x scissor. Mewtwo used aura sphere on kangaskhan. He brought out kyogre and made it rain. Second turn, shedinja used shadow sneak on mewtwo. Mewtwo used shadow ball on shedinja and it survived it with focus sash. Kyogre took out kangaskhan with water spout and shedinja was not affected. I brought out toxicroak. Third turn, Toxicroak fake out mewtwo and has the same fate as darkrai. Kyogre used water spout and my pokemon was unharmed. He brought out ho-oh. Fourth turn, Kyogre used earthquake and almost halved toxicroak HP. Shedinja used shadow sneak on ho-oh. Ho-oh took out shedinja with flamethrower. 16 month old won't drink anything? what to do?

I'm trying to wean my 16 month old off of the bottle. I have tried pretty much every type of sippy cup there is. From ones with nipples to ones with straws and ones with spouts. There are two problems. She has no idea how to tip a sippy cup or her bottle for that matter. The other problem is that I have finally found a sippy cup that she can use because she doesn't have to tip it at all because it's the kind with a straw that goes all the way to the bottom of the sippy cup. She was using it fine with just water in it yesterday. This morning I have replaced one of her bottles and put the milk in the sippy cup. She drank the milk fine, but she refuses to drink water out of it now. I have no Idea what to do because she won't let me feed her water from the bottle and she won't use this sippy cup now, this is the ONLY sippy cup she is able to use. This problem has been going on for weeks no with me trying to get her to use a sippy cup that she has become dehydrated and it's caused her to become constipated. I have had to take her to the doctor to get a laxative for her because she went 9 days without going poop. This is now again the 7th day without her going poop. I have been giving her the laxative everyday, but because of her not getting any fluids except for milk, the medication isn't working. I'm at a loss for what to do. Any help?

Is my surface hip piercing infected?

I can't tell if my hip piercing is infected or healing. I've been putting the right amount of sea salt on my piercing s and its been about a week since I got them. Why does water pour out of the bottom spout on my RV's water heater?

I just bought my first RV (1978 with an American Appliance Mfg propane water heater model 6 ARV) and whenever the water system is pressurized (by the 12v pump or when hooked up to city water) the water flows right through the hot water tank and out of the spout at the bottom of the heater (it looks like a garden hose will connect to it and inside has about 1/4" hole). The only way I can stop it so I can use the water in the trailer is to turn the water off completely for the water heater. Should this spout simply have a plug screwed on to stop the water from flowing out or could there be something else going on? My RV dealer told me that was a spout for the anode rod but the Anode rod is actually at the back of the tank with access from inside the trailer, not outside behind the water heater door. The spout in question is located near the bottom of the unit, on the wall behind the gas/air tube. Anyone know anything about these heaters that might know?

Best sippy cup for little guy who won't take any?!?

So my little guy is a little over 11 months old, and I've been trying since he was about 5 months (just slowly introducing water in sippy) and no avail. It probably don't help that he hates any flavor of juice even if it is diluted, and hates water. I've tried a few brands, plus the take and toss ones my toddler uses that has no valves and figured if the liquid in the sippy just trickled in his mouth he'd get the idea...yeah right!! he just chews on the spout! So just wondering if there is any sippys out there that mimic a bottle nipple somewhat? He is used to the larger bottle nipples like the ones found on playtex ventaire wide neck bottles, and born-free bottles.

Should I hire a personal trainer?

I just joined a gym, but I don't really know what exercises to do or what machines to use because of there are so many. I'm 5'5" and 130-135 pounds. I don't really have a problem with my weight (though I wouldn't mind losing a couple pounds), but I am out of shape. I'd like to tone my entire body, but I want to focus on losing weight around my waist, and toning my butt and legs to make my hips look bigger. Basically I want to look more curvy. Should I get a personal trainer to help me create a workout plan or are my goals simple to achieve without one? If they are, can anyone give me some direction, because I feel lost?

We turned the relief valve on hot water heater and ran until water was clear from the spouts outside. Also drained about a gallon from water heater. Still get same noise.

This has been an ongoing problem for me for like.. 2 years. My right hip feels really uncomfortable and there is a dull, achy pain that is VERY annoying. It's there all the time and makes it very difficult for me to feel good at all most of the time.the pain is originating mostly from the joint.. I've tried hot baths, ice, NSAIDS including 800mg ibuprofen every 6-8 hours or 2-500mg naproxen every 10 hours. I really don't feel much difference after I take the NSAIDS, but have seen a huge improvement when I've taken vicodin. Some further info is I am 22, havent had an injury on my hip that I know of, and am a little overweight. At night usually the most comfortable I CAN get is to put a pillow between my legs. Sippy Cup Nightmare! What To Do?

I had the same problem with my daughter. She wouldn't drink out of a sippy cup until she was almost 2.Both my boys were bottle broke at 11 months. Every child is different. I know doctors say they need to be off the bottle by age one but my daughter just wouldn't budge. I went ahead and allowed her to have her bottle until age two when she had a better understanding and I could reason with her. Nows she's 4 1/2 and I can't get her off her sippy cup.::big eye roll:: She just started preschool last week so I'm hoping by her not having her sippy cup during the day she will transition into a regular cup. If he's dead set on not drinking out of a sippy cup and your worried about dehydration you could always give him his bottle back during the day but only fill it with water. Leave the sippy cup out with his favortie drink in it and see if that might pursude him to drink from it.That way he can choose. I know it seems like a step back but some kids just aren't ready to give up the bottle. If your dead set on moving forward with the sippy cup transition I would suggest you not give him a bottle at night. This is sending mixed messages. I'm sure a lot of people won't agree with me but I don't see anything wrong with a child having a bottle past one year. My daughter kept hers until she was two and we've had no issues with her. I think it was more of a security thing. Like now with her sippy cup. She can and will sometimes drink out of a regular cup but she prefers her sippy. Good luck!

The 1200 a day rhetoric is spouted by people that have almost zero experience in the diet/nutrition field and that just repeat something they read on the internet. All you need to do when you finish is to watch your calories to make sure you do not exceed what is needed to maintain weight.

I have been having severe pain in my hips, knees and ankles since December. I have been to the doctors and the hospital multiple times. They have tried X-Rays, MRI, and Physical Therapy.
